“Wouldn’t it be wonderful if all our letters could be published in the future in a more enlightened time. Then all the world could see how in love we are”
It’s not a “feel-good story” (the mention of World War Two in the title certainly gives that away) but there’s something comforting in the thought that their letters got indeed published. It’s worth a read.
